AI RFP SOFTWARE · DRAFT MODE

A three-day RFP. Ready before launch.

sensei. is built for supply chain and procurement teams. Answer three questions and get an issue-ready RFP pack: full document, compliance matrix, weighted scorecard, and pricing template, built from a category playbook instead of a blank page. Any category. You send it yourself, suppliers never log into sensei.

Category playbook loaded first — not a blank-page model that guesses volumes and SLAs.

Issue-ready RFP pack

One month of Pro costs less than one hour of consulting. No ERP project. No supplier portal.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Two buyers. One pack. Different reasons to care.

Consultants deliver it as the engagement output. Heads of SCM send it to suppliers and run the event themselves.

For boutique SCM and procurement consultants

Deliver a defensible RFP this week, not next month.

You are hired because the client cannot write the problem. A chatbot gives them a thin outline. You need a pack that survives legal review and a steering committee.

  • Outcome: an issue-ready pack you can put on the client’s letterhead. SOW, 50 to 120 requirement IDs, a scorecard that sums to 100, and a pricing appendix.
  • Why subscribe: reuse the same engine across 3PL, WMS, freight, MRO, packaging and contract manufacturing. One seat covers every engagement this quarter.
  • Time: first draft in minutes. Mark it issue-ready after you fill the gaps drawer. That is the structure work you used to bill at $300 an hour.
  • Risk you avoid: a polished narrative with invented SLAs. sensei. flags every number that is not in your brief.
For Heads of SCM and procurement managers

Run the event you already know. Stop starting from a blank Word file.

You do not need Coupa to write a 3PL or MRO RFP. You need a document your CFO and legal will recognise, built from the extract and constraints you already have.

  • Outcome: a pack you can email to three to five suppliers this cycle, with clear must and should lines, how they must quote, and how you will score.
  • Why subscribe: several packs a year (3PL, freight, WMS, packaging) without a software implementation or a consulting firm on retainer.
  • Time: Monday brief in, draft the same morning. You still own award and the relationship.
  • Risk you avoid: an RFP that only asks for price, or one so vague that every bid is incomparable.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET

A comprehensive pack. Not a five-page sketch.

Six files export together. Every one ties to the others — the scorecard IDs match the matrix, the matrix IDs match the RFP sections.

RFP.docx

Cover through Section 13: purpose, scope, response rules, qualifications, matrix, solution ask, commercial, SLAs, security, ESG, contract pointers, evaluation.

Score + matrix

Weighted scorecard, 1–5 anchors, compliance matrix with stable IDs. Mandatory gates before anyone talks price.

Commercial template

Category pricing appendix so bids land in one shape. The RFQ lives here, not as a separate sourcing product.

Client memo

One page: why this RFP exists, what you are not buying, how you will choose, decisions still open.

Gaps register

Every [TBD] listed. Draft is honest. Issue-ready is locked until you fill or waive the red list.

Any category

3PL, warehouse, freight, TMS or WMS, MRO, packaging, contract manufacturing, or Other. Playbook loads first.

HOW IT WORKS

AI RFP software built around your category

Most writing tools start from a blank page and guess. sensei. loads the category playbook first, then writes from your brief.

A 3PL pack needs OTIF, inventory accuracy, EDI and a rate card. An MRO pack needs a basket file, fill rate and vending. sensei. loads that playbook first, then writes the document from your three answers and the constraints you type in. The result is a pack you can send: requirements with stable IDs, a scorecard that adds to 100, and a pricing template so bids arrive in one shape. You still run the event in email. The product does not invite suppliers, score live bids, or replace your legal paper.

01

Category

Pick the supply chain category. That loads the playbook so a 3PL matrix is not a SaaS questionnaire.

02

What good looks like

Outcome, not the solution. OTIF, footprint, systems, incumbent pain.

03

Constraints

Go-live, systems you will not rip out, compliance, budget publish rule. Then generate.

Need more? Open the business context drawer. No 14-step wizard. No “invite suppliers” screen.

WHY THIS, NOT THE ALTERNATIVES

Different job. Different buyer.

General AI writes prose. Sourcing suites run events. sensei. does the one thing in the middle: it writes the pack.

01

ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini

Fast prose. Invented volumes. No matrix IDs. No scorecard that ties to requirements. You still rebuild the pack.

02

Ariba / Coupa / GEP

They run the event after IT is done. You need the document before anyone logs into a suite. Months and a budget you do not have for one RFP.

03

sensei. RFP Pack

Category playbook + your brief + consistency checks. Export and send from email. One subscription, every category this year.

PRICING

One seat. Every RFP this quarter.

Subscribe because the work repeats — 3PL this month, MRO next, freight the month after.

FAQ

Questions

What is AI RFP software?

It is a product that drafts the buy-side RFP pack from your brief, not a portal that runs the tender. sensei. uses a category playbook plus your answers to write the document, matrix, scorecard and pricing template. You export the files and send them yourself.

Is sensei. RFP automation software or something different?

It automates the writing of the pack. It does not automate supplier login, Q and A, or award. Those steps stay in your email, legal pack and existing process. That is the point for a one-engineer product with no ERP project.

How is sensei. different from asking ChatGPT to write an RFP?

A general model writes fluent sections and often invents volumes, SLAs and weights. sensei. starts from a versioned category playbook, keeps requirement IDs stable, forces the scorecard to add to 100, and lists every gap as TBD. If a number is not in your brief, it is not in the pack.

Do suppliers need to log into sensei.?

No. You download the pack and send it. There is no invite, no bidder Q and A inside the product, and no proposal inbox. If a step needs a supplier account, it is out of this workflow.

What is included in an RFP pack?

The Word RFP from cover letter through Section 13, a compliance matrix, a weighted scorecard and rubric, a category pricing template, a one-page memo, and a gaps register. Issue-ready export unlocks when red gaps are filled or waived.

How long does it take to generate an RFP?

The first draft comes back from three questions, in time to review before launch. Filling the gaps drawer is what turns a three-day writing job into an issue-ready pack the same day. Legal and stakeholder names still come from you.

Write the RFP. Send it yourself.

Same pack whether you issue it for your company or deliver it for a client.
